Heavenly Cream – An Acoustic Tribute to Cream

This show aims to tell a deeper narrative about the history of contemporary music. That would simply not be possible without an understanding of the pivotal role that the first supergroup, Cream, formed by Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton in 1966 had on music and the culture. The music that Cream innovated set the stage for the musical, ideological and social revolutions of the late 1960s. There is no way to over-estimate that influence. Fast forward 58 years and Bruce’s son Malcolm has released a star-studded tribute to Cream’s historic legacy, Heavenly Cream – An Acoustic Tribute to Cream.

Sonic Mojo with Foghat’s Roger Earl

For the past 54 years Roger Earl has served as the drummer for the iconic Rock band Foghat. Roger recalls bandmates, the late great Kim Simmonds, Savoy Brown, and great stories from a legendary career in music. Foghat will be performing in St. Charles at the Arcada Theater for an 8pm show on Saturday December 2. Foghat just released its 17th studio album, the Number 1 Billboard hit, Sonic Mojo, a very strong album indeed. Firefall’s Jock Bartley

Jock Bartley is the cofounder of the classic American band Firefall, whose soul infused sound blends country and Americana themes with jazzy sax and flute notes over richly layered harmonies. The band's biggest hit single, "You Are the Woman", peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard charts in 1976, followed by "Just Remember I Love You" which hit #11 in 1977.
